Blossom Hill Kindergarten, under the wing of AIS International School, follows an international early years education framework. We are currently seeking a Preschool Curriculum Designer who demonstrates strong expertise in designing, structuring, and developing preschool curriculum, with a focus on child-centered learning and international early childhood education standards.

Candidates with prior experience in early years' curriculum design and familiarity with recognised international early childhood frameworks will be given preference.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a comprehensive preschool curriculum aligned with international early years standards and child development principles.
  • Create curriculum frameworks, scope and sequence documents, learning outcomes, and assessment guidelines for preschool levels.
  • Develop curriculum resources, lesson templates, and planning guides to support teachers' classroom implementation.
  • Review and enhance existing curriculum materials to ensure consistency, quality, and developmental appropriateness.
  • Collaborate with teachers and academic leaders to ensure curriculum effectiveness and feasibility.
  • Support documentation and curriculum requirements for internal quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Studies, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in preschool curriculum design, early years programme development, or related academic roles.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early childhood pedagogy.
  • Familiarity with international early years frameworks (e.g. EYFS, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, IB Early Years, or similar).
  • High standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Creativity, innovation, and a growth mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
