Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator role is responsible for coordinating and managing the inbound and outbound orders. This includes infrastructure components, and materials to and from the data center. This role ensures timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to strict compliance, documentation, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Guide a team of material handlers to provide administrative support to the operations.
- Handle order processing, prepare and maintain reports and files for all operations records, correspondence and plans.
- Correspondence and liaison with customers and to attend to their enquiries.
- Handle any other ad-hoc / administrative duties.
- Perform kitting activities – Picking, auditing and delivering IT parts as per requested by customer.
- Perform reverse logistics activities – Collect, process and pack used IT parts
- Perform inventory activities – conduct daily counts and replenishment
- Train, mentor temp staff and less experienced Material Handlers.
- Use of WMS for Data entry and documents generation
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of all necessary documentation for data center operations.
- Assist in data center builds/populations, decommissioning of server racks, material replenishment when required.
- Use of data center system and tools to execute tasks
Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, bachelor's degree, Professional Degree, or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates / Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
- Good working knowledge of the following logistics operations areas – distribution, inventory planning, materials management.
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Good Communication skills in English
- Good Knowledge in Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Good customer relationship management skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: Up to RM5,000.00 per month
