About the role

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team at JCL Credit Leasing Sdn Bhd as an Internal Audit Intern. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, offering you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of internal auditing and contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the planning and execution of internal audit engagements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  2. Conduct risk assessments, document internal controls, and identify areas for improvement
  3. Perform detailed testing and analysis of financial and operational data
  4. Prepare clear and concise audit reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit-related issues and implement corrective actions
  6. Participate in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  4. Basic understanding of internal control frameworks and audit methodologies
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
