Job Title: Supply Chain Executive – Infrastructure Solutions

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly capable and results-driven Supply Chain Executive to manage and optimize supply chain operations across the infrastructure solutions ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on third-party products and solutions. This role demands exceptional negotiation skills, strategic supplier management, and operational rigor to secure competitive pricing, favorable lead times, and reliable support. Additionally, the position plays a critical role in bid and tender support, ensuring cohesive and cost-effective propositions for customers.

Key Responsibilities (Stringent & Critical):

Strategic Supply Chain Management

• Own end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes for third-party products and solutions, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
• Develop and execute supplier strategies to secure cost competitiveness, quality assurance, and delivery reliability.
• Monitor and enforce supplier performance metrics, implementing corrective actions for underperformance. Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regional regulations.
• Be a core member a part of the team to explore new technologies and developing new suppliers 

Supplier Partnership & Negotiation

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers to ensure priority support and alignment with business objectives.
• Lead complex negotiations to achieve best-in-class pricing, optimized payment terms, and guaranteed lead times.
• Drive supplier accountability through structured business reviews and performance scorecards.

Bid & Tender Support

• Act as the supply chain lead in bid and tender processes, providing accurate cost structures, delivery commitments, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and finance teams to ensure competitive and cohesive solution proposals.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Proactively identify supply chain risks (e.g., shortages, delays, geopolitical impacts) and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regional regulations, contractual obligations, and ethical sourcing standards.

Operational Excellence

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier agreements, pricing databases, and lead-time commitments.
• Support demand planning and inventory optimization to minimize disruptions and excess costs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership.

Requirements (Stringent):

Technical & Industry Knowledge

• Deep understanding of data center industry and infrastructure solution ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain best practices, and vendor risk management.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills with proven ability to secure favorable commercial terms.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for cost analysis, risk assessment, and decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, or vendor management roles, preferably in technology or infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrated success in managing strategic suppliers and supporting complex bids/tenders in a regional or multi-country environment.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel regionally as needed.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel for cost modeling and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• Professional certifications such as: 
  • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) – desirable for bid/tender coordination
• Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
