We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a leading Plastics Manufacturer in Malaysia This position requires your urgent attention.

the job

  • Collaborate with departments to achieve company and departmental KPIs; prepare and present monthly KPI performance reports.
  • Ensure process and product compliance with procedures, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular process audits, review failure reports, and drive timely closure of non-conformances.
  • Analyze inspection results to identify quality trends and implement process improvements.
  • Manage customer feedback and complaints, leading cross-functional teams on investigations and CAPA follow-up.
  • Oversee containment actions and prepare 8D reports to communicate corrective measures to customers.
  • Support new product introductions from development to mass production, ensuring compliance with customer standards.
  • Develop internal procedures, validation reports, and risk assessments to strengthen process reliability and quality performance.

the experience

  • Degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years' QA/QC experience in plastic manufacturing.
  • Experienced in ISO documentation and auditing.
  • Strong in technical drawings; GD&T knowledge is an advantage.
