We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Assistant / Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will support sales operations and actively engage with clients, particularly within the travel and tourism sector, to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle sales enquiries and prepare travel quotations (air tickets, hotels, tour packages, etc.)
  • Follow up with clients and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Support the sales team in achieving monthly sales targets
  • Coordinate with suppliers, airlines, and tour partners for confirmations
  • Prepare and manage travel documentation and bookings
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and client databases
  • Perform other sales-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field
  • Knowledge or prior exposure to the travel industry is an added advantage
  • Good command of English (spoken, written, and reading) is essential
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Sales-oriented, proactive, and responsible
  • Familiarity with travel-related systems/tools such as:
  • GDS systems (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) – an advantage
  • Airline and hotel booking portals
  • CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
