Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Sales Manager
to lead commercial activities and drive business growth within the polymer and chemical markets. This role requires a strong background in B2B sales, deep understanding of polymer applications, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key market segments such as packaging, automotive, construction, and consumer goods.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and sales agreements to ensure profitable outcomes.

2. Market & Product Strategy

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with technical and product development teams to introduce new polymer solutions and applications.
  • Recommend product improvements and value-added solutions based on market feedback.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including trade shows, seminars, and product launches.

3. Account & Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular contact with key clients to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams (R&D, Supply Chain, and Technical Support) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer experience.
  • Develop long-term strategic partnerships with key accounts and industry stakeholders.

4. Performance Management & Reporting

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide market insights and competitor intelligence to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of
    7–10 years
    of experience in B2B sales within the
    polymer, chemical, or plastics
    industry.
  • Proven success in managing key accounts and achieving sales growth in a competitive environment.
  • Experience in leading a sales team or regional portfolio is preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of polymer materials, compounding, or chemical product applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving ability.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a collaborative approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade events, and business reviews.
