Project Managers/Senior Engineers

Position 1: Project Managers

Job Purpose: Manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring timely technical deliverables, resource coordination, cost control and on-site execution in line with approved baselines.

Key Accountabilities

1. Detailed Execution

2. Break down the master schedule into rolling 4-week look-ahead plans.

3. Coordinate issuance of IFC (Issued-for-Construction) drawings, RFI (Request for Information) logs and engineering change notices (ECNs).

4. Oversee procurement progress: PO issuance, expediting, vendor performance assessments.

5. Cost & Schedule Control

6. Monitor weekly site progress, validate progress claims and subcontractor payment certificates.

7. Update risk register; implement mitigation actions for high-impact/high-probability items.

8. Site Coordination & Safety

9. Liaise with Site Supervisor to enforce daily toolbox talks, RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements).

10. Ensure site deliverables (e.g. pre-commissioning punchlists) are closed in accordance with ITP sign-off.

11. Reporting & Documentation

12. Produce monthly progress reports: schedule status, cost variance, NCRs, and QA snapshots.

13. Maintain project document control system: transmittals, correspondence and technical logs.
14. Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and milestones.

15. Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, reports, and contracts.

16. Project Planning and Execution:

17. Lead the end-to-end management of M&E EPC and EPCM projects, ensuring that all project objectives are met in accordance with contractual agreements and company standards.

18. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and budget estimates.
19. Ensure effective coordination and management of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

20. Monitor and control project progress, implementing corrective actions when necessary to keep the project on track.

21. Budget and Cost Management:

22. Manage project budgets, ensuring that all financial targets are met and that costs are controlled.

23. Prepare and review financial reports, tracking expenditures, forecasts, and project profitability.

24. Ensure effective cost management strategies to optimize project efficiency and profitability.

25. Team Leadership and Coordination:

26. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of projects.

27. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

28. Ensure effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure alignment with project goals.

29. Risk Management and Compliance:

30. Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

31. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

32. Manage project changes, including scope adjustments, contract modifications, and stakeholder expectations.

33. Contract and Stakeholder Management:

34. Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful project outcomes.

35. Oversee contract negotiations, manage contractual obligations, and ensure all project deliverables are met in line with client expectations.

36. Quality Assurance and Control:

37. Implement quality control processes to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

38. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Eng or a related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage in your discipline with 5–8 years on EPC/EPCM projects; exposure to both office and site environments.
• Familiarity with material take-off (MTO), subcontractor scoping and local procurement channels.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, process system, cleanroom system, as well as construction methodologies, codes, and standards.
• Project Management Skills: Strong proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and contract administration. Experience with MS Project or similar project management tools.
• Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex project challenges and deliver high-quality results.

Position 2: Senior Project Engineers (Industrial M&E/MEP/Cleanroom- EPC & EPCM)

Job Purpose: Ensure the integrity, compliance and constructability of engineering deliverables; act as the bridge between design offices, procurement and site execution teams.

Key Accountabilities

1. Technical Review & QA/QC

2. Perform technical reviews of IFC drawings, datasheets and calculation packages for compliance with project specifications and codes (SS CP, IEC, NFPA).

3. Lead internal technical walkthroughs and coordinate third-party certifier inspections.

4. Constructability & Interface Management

5. Conduct constructability reviews with Site Supervisor; identify clashes, site constraints and propose mitigation. o Manage technical queries (RFIs) and ensure timely resolutions with design consultants.

6. Vendor & Material Oversight

7. Evaluate vendor drawings/submittals, ensure alignment with MTO and technical requirements.

8. Approve technical aspects of material inspection reports (MIRs) and FAT/SAT protocols.

9. Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing

10. Coach project engineers on technical standards, drafting conventions and calculation best practices. Compile lessons-learned log on technical issues and maintain a knowledge repository.

11. Team Coordination and Execution:

12. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to achieve project deliverables.

13. Ensure installation and execution progress aligns with project timelines and specifications.

14. Supervise and ensure all works comply with contract drawings and technical requirements.

15. Documentation and Reporting:

16. Prepare method statements, shop drawings, installation/testing checklists, and progress reports.

17. Coordinate the preparation and submission of shop drawings with consultants and subcontractors.

18. Manage technical submissions with suppliers and subcontractors.

19. Site Supervision and Quality Assurance:

20. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential risks.

21. Resolve technical and on-site issues through discussions with stakeholders.

22. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations throughout the project.

23. Stakeholder Collaboration:

24. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities for approvals, inspections, and commissioning.

25. Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

26. Resource Management:

27. Assist the Project Manager in negotiating and procuring materials, equipment, and labor within the approved budget.

28. Monitor the efficient use of resources to achieve project objectives.

29. Process Optimization:

30. Identify and implement improvements to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Eng in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil with 6–8 years' EPC/EPCM experience.
