We're Hiring: Mandarin Teacher / Language Educator

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mandarin Teacher to join our team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in language instruction, a deep understanding of Mandarin Chinese and its cultural context, and a genuine commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning experience for students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Create a supportive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources—including multimedia tools, games, and authentic materials—to enhance students' language learning and proficiency.
  • Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, assignments, and other evaluation tools, and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate Mandarin learning with other subjects.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the school administration to support each student's individual needs.
  • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in language education and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and performance, and submit required reports on time.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, school events, and other activities that contribute to the school community.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
  • Strong understanding of Mandarin culture and language pedagogy.
  • Experience in teaching young children or school-aged students (preferred).
  • Positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to create fun, interactive, and effective lessons.
