The Mainframe System Analyst will be responsible to ensure seamless technology operations in the financial services industry. This role requires a professional with strong technical expertise in z/OS and COBOL skills to maintain and enhance application performance.

Description

  • Provide Level 2 production support
  • Review upcoming changes, resolve incident tickets, and raise problem tickets
  • Support end-of-day batch runs and maintain knowledge bases to improve efficiency
  • Work with cross-functional teams (incident management, infrastructure, operations) to resolve major incidents
  • Implement application monitoring and automation using enterprise tools and dashboards

Profile

A successful Mainframe System Analyst should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support within banking or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of Z/OS systems, CICS, VSAM, JCL, and COBOL
  • Hands-on experience in Level 2 or Level 3 production support
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable supporting end-of-day batch runs
