Key Duties:
The Account Executive are responsible to manage full sets of accounts and bookkeeping for Malaysia's Engineering Operations legal entities, daily financial operations, accounts payable/receivable, expense claims, and prepare financial reports.
- Manage end-to-end processing of invoices, staff claims, vendor payments, and receipts; including raising purchase orders (POs), posting transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate financial entries
- Handle monthly journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and aligned with internal controls
- Prepare monthly financial reports (e.g.: Trial Balance and Cash Flow Forecast)
- Monitor project statuses and revenue estimates to support financial planning
- Prepare and submit GST/SST returns and quarterly BUSR reports
- Coordinate annual audit preparations, liaise with auditors, and manage tax compliance and queries
- Update and monitor orders in systems like LOD, Check-in Board, and accounting platforms
- Compile data from tools such as Tidywork and reconcile leave records across systems
- Liaise with the Corporate Secretary for legal entity matters in Malaysia, maintain financial systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience as generalist in accounting/finance role or cost accounting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous, disciplined and highly responsible
- Able to work flexibly and under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Very good written and verbal English skills
