Your Role in Brief

As a Data Science (Sustainability) Intern, you will contribute to the integration of sustainability practices by leveraging data science techniques. Your role involves working with property development and construction data, utilizing tools like Power BI and Autodesk to create impactful visualizations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure effective documentation, and assist in sustainability implementation within the organization. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for data science and sustainability, looking to make a meaningful impact.

What's your job scope like?

Handling Data

  • Work with property develop and construction-related datasets in regards to sustainability.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover methods of data extraction, uncover insights and patterns through data visualisation.
  • Implement prompt engineering and python to extract data from source files.

Data Visualization

  • Create informative data visualizations using Power BI and Autodesk tools to communicate findings effectively.
  • Create dashboards which are able to effectively monitor project's data.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to build and communicate usage of the dashboards.

Documentation

  • Document code, methodologies, and results to allow continuity of work.

Sustainability Implementation

  • Cover sustainability implementation in the organisation assigned.

Who are we looking for?

  • Candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Have basic understanding of prompt engineering and  Power BI.
  • Ability to process and analyse large volume of data and information.
  • Possess an excellent command of the English language (written & oral), strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
