About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at FENOMENA MAJUKAYA SDN BHD as an Operations Manager for their offshore catering services. As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's offshore catering services, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery to clients. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of the offshore catering operations, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  2. Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of catering services to offshore clients
  3. Oversee the procurement, logistics, and distribution of food, equipment, and supplies
  4. Manage and train a team of catering professionals to maintain high standards of service
  5. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or issues that arise
  6. Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement
  7. Analyse and report on key performance indicators to identify opportunities for optimisation
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the offshore catering services

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality or catering industry, preferably in an offshore or remote environment
  2. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
  4. Familiarity with food safety regulations, logistics, and procurement processes in the catering industry
  5. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to track and optimise key performance indicators
  6. Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  7. A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
