About the role

As the Restaurant Manager for Tomaz 21Trees Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant located in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of our restaurant and providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers. You will report directly to the senior management team at Tomaz Shoes (Retail).

What you'll be doing

· Able to lead, motivate, and inspire your team to be their best.

· Manage schedules, monitor stock levels, and anticipate the team's needs to keep operations running smoothly.

· Plan manpower needs, manage recruitment, and identify training opportunities for the restaurant team.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and legally compliant restaurant. With a focus on improvement.

· Manage waste, recycling, and energy usage in the restaurant.

· Able to manage the cost and improve customer experience.

· To drive sales across all channels and grow the restaurant sustainably

· Focusing on managing operating costs to boost profitability and overall performance.

· To execute local and national marketing plans, driving sales and attracting new customers.

· Review and ensure timely, accurate, complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.

· Ensure the team understands and is driven by the restaurant's vision and goals

· Take care of your team members by always engaging with and recognizing them.

· Perform other tasks as assigned

What we're looking for

· Preferably a Manager specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent

· Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/'O' Level or Diploma/Degree in Food & Services Management

· Strong interest and passion in food preparation and serving, have a high interest in making a great dining experience

· Strong leadership skills, an enforcer and executer, planner, proactive, resourceful, problem-solving, decision-making making and result-oriented

· Effective management, delegation, ability to interpret financial data (Profit & Loss), and decisive in action

· Humble, always ready to listen and learn from others

· Able to grow and develop others, a natural leader and motivator.

· Good interpersonal skills, able to interact well with all levels

· Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

· Required to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays

· Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and (Mandarin is an advantage)
