Our client "Tasek Maju Realty Sdn Bhd" is seeking a Mall Leasing Executive to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Source new tenants: Identify and attract suitable tenants with innovative retail concepts that align with the mall's strategic tenant mix plan.
  • Market research: Analyze market trends and consumer demands to develop feasible leasing strategies that keep the mall competitive and vibrant.
  • Relationship building: Foster strong connections with tenants, agents, stakeholders, and business partners to create a thriving mall ecosystem.
  • Strategic planning: Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy rates and maximize rental space profitability.
  • Tenant mix management: Monitor and optimize the tenant mix to ensure a commercially successful and attractive shopping environment.
  • Occupancy optimization: Strive to maintain maximum occupancy and high renewal rates through proactive leasing efforts.
  • Reporting and analysis: Prepare weekly activity reports and track negotiation progress with potential tenants.
  • Budget planning: Assist in preparing budgets and rental plans to support the mall's financial goals.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with inter-departmental teams on fit-out and maintenance projects to ensure smooth operations.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Retail Management, Economics, Communication, Marketing, or related fields are preferred.
  • Relevant experience: At least three years of experience in a related field, ideally in Shopping Mall Management, Retail, or Event Management.
  • Language skills: Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential, with Mandarin proficiency being a plus.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy to manage digital aspects of the role effectively.
  • Self-starter: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
