Our client KERETA ELEKTRONIK WU (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team

This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in the manufacturing sector, where you will be setting up, operating, and monitoring machines used for drawing, stranding, insulating, or coiling wires and cables. You will be loading raw materials such as copper, aluminum, or plastic insulation onto the machines, ensuring the smooth production of cables. With teamwork and flexibility, you will contribute to quality control and support the team in shifts or overtime when necessary.

What you'll be doing?
  • Machine Setup: Configure and prepare machines for the production of wires and cables.
  • Operation: Operate machines to draw, strand, insulate, or coil wires and cables efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure the quality of the cables.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and support each other in shifts or overtime.
  • Material Loading: Load raw materials such as copper, aluminum, or plastic insulation onto the machines.
Who are they looking for?
  • Basic Mechanical Knowledge: Candidates with basic mechanical operation knowledge and relevant professional background or practical experience.
  • Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English, as the role involves serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Language Proficiency: Mandarin and English proficiency is essential for effective communication with the team and customers.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in machine operation, preferably in wire or cable production.
