About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Officer / Site Supervisor to join our team at MCC20 DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD' in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This full-time role will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction site operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks
  2. Implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures and best practices on site
  3. Providing safety training and guidance to site personnel
  4. Investigating and reporting on incidents, accidents and near-misses
  5. Liaising with regulatory authorities and clients on all safety-related matters
  6. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all safety activities
  7. Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Site Safety Officer or Site Supervisor in the construction industry
  2. Obtain valid Yellow Book or Green Book
  3. Able to join the soonest, A.S.A.P.
  4. Formal qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field
  5. Strong knowledge of construction health, safety and environmental regulations
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with site personnel at all levels
  7. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  8. Proficient in report writing and maintaining detailed safety records
  9. Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks
  10. Able to speak mandarin is added point to deal with client.
