ROLE OVERVIEW

The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in executing campaigns, creating content, and analyzing performance metrics. This role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and event coordination.

Portfolio: Commercial and Consumer business unit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
  • Create and schedule social media content to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  • Support in preparing marketing materials such as buntings, print ads, presentations, eDM etc.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Help organize events, webinars, and promotional activities.
  • Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.

Work Experience

  • No prior experience required; internship or project experience in marketing is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is an advantage.
  • Proficient (written and verbal) in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate (written and verbal) in Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Availability for a minimum of 3 months internship.
  • Ability to work on-site or hybrid as required.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
