About the Role

SUMMER REGION SDN. BHD., located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, is a dynamic and expanding IT solutions provider, dedicated to delivering custom-developed applications for medium to large healthcare institutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and hands-on Systems Engineer to oversee the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our critical infrastructure and application environments across Linux and Windows platforms.

What You'll Be Doing

We're looking for an engineer with strong expertise in Oracle-based technologies (including database systems and Linux OS), application server administration, and system infrastructure. The ideal candidate will provide critical support to both internal teams and external clients, including hands-on on-site implementation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting, performance tuning, documentation, upgrades, and support of the following technologies:

1. Oracle Database installation, configuration, optimization, and maintenance
2. GlassFish Application Server deployment, management, and performance tuning
3. Oracle Reports & Knowage Server administration
4. Linux & Windows OS system administration, security, and troubleshooting
5. Virtualization (VMware & Microsoft Hyper-V) infrastructure management
6. Network Administration configuration monitoring, security, and infrastructure support
7. Healthcare Auxiliary Systems integration and maintenance

What we're looking for

Qualification: Degree or Diploma in IT/Computer Studies

Work Experience: 1 to 2 years in similar capacity. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Travel Requirement: Occasionally to customers' site
