About the role

Jingxin Group (M) Sdn. Bhd., a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Executive/Coordinator/Manager to join their dynamic team in Kulai, Johor. This full-time position is crucial in supporting the company's efficient warehousing, storage and distribution operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinate shipment arrangements with internal departments, transporters, and freight forwarders.
  2. Plan, monitor, and expedite shipments to ensure efficient import and export operations with timely delivery.
  3. Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, ensuring accurate declarations and report submissions.
  4. Liaise with government authorities such as Customs, MIDA, and MITI on matters related to regulations, exemptions, duties, and shipment clearance (import and export).
  5. Evaluate and select freight agents, forwarders, and transporters to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
  6. Update and maintain shipment data in the system and ensure proper filing of all related documents.
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry
  2. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  4. Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and transportation logistics
  5. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
  6. Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  7. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
