Job Purpose

  • Develop, design, and deliver high-quality multimedia content that elevates Uzma's brand, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support corporate communications, internal departments, and senior leadership through creative solutions across digital, print, and video platforms.
  • Strengthen Uzma's visual identity by producing sleek, modern, and professional designs that reflect the Group's forward-thinking, diversified energy and technology narrative.
  • Maintain the Group's website and support internal portals

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist and execute multimedia design projects, including newsletters, brochures, Annual Report sections, digital graphics, and corporate videos.
  • Manage end-to-end production for visual materials: concepting, design, recording, editing, and publishing.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to understand needs, refine concepts, and ensure timely delivery of high-impact visuals aligned with the Uzma brand.
  • Maintain and update website content via CMS, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and strong visual presentation.
  • Uphold Uzma's design standards and ensure consistency across all communication touchpoints.
  • Design and produce visual assets for internal and external communications, including newsletters, presentations, posters, digital content, and corporate publications.
  • Handle photography and videography assignments (planning, shooting, and editing) for events, campaigns, and corporate announcements.
  • Support Annual Report development with layout design, infographics, and print-ready formatting, particularly using Adobe InDesign.
  • Collaborate with departments and senior leaders to conceptualise creative ideas, provide design recommendations, and refine materials based on feedback.
  • Manage and update website pages and digital content using CMS tools.
  • Organise and maintain a multimedia asset library (photos, videos, templates, brand elements).
  • Stay updated with creative trends, new tools, and emerging digital storytelling techniques.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Creative Arts, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Malay, Mandarin, or others) is an added advantage for multilingual content creation.
  • 3-5 years of experience in multimedia design, graphic design, or related creative roles (Executive / Senior Executive level).
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or Davinci Resolve. After Effects familiarity is a plus (Mac or Windows).
  • Proven experience in designing for corporate publications (Annual Reports, brochures, newsletters).
  • Hands-on experience in videography, video editing, and photography — from concept to post-production.
  • Experience managing website content via CMS platforms.
  • Able to discuss design concepts with clarity, provide creative direction, and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills and ability to work with senior management professionally.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics, modern layouts, typography, and brand consistency.
  • Warm, collaborative, and positive attitude that contributes to a high-trust, high-performance team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
