Senior Designer

This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional digital experiences by leading our creative strategy, integrating advanced AI technologies, ensuring projects are executed flawlessly, client expectations are exceeded, and our digital presence strengthens our brand. Success will be measured by project productivity, client satisfaction, the successful adoption of AI-driven creative processes, and the measurable impact of our digital projects on business goals, positioning this role as a critical bridge between our creative output and client satisfaction within the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Project Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the design and development team.
• Assign, manage, and track project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Conduct regular team meetings, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Implement and maintain efficient project workflows and quality control processes, specifically incorporating AI-assisted design and automation steps.

Project Ownership and Production Excellence:

• Independently monitor and manage project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Take full ownership of design projects from conception to completion, strategically integrating AI methodologies to drive production excellence and innovation.
• Ensure efficient project workflows and high-quality output.

CMS Website Development:

• Design and develop responsive websites using the Duda platform.
• Suggest suitable sitemap and website framework based on client industry, products, and services.
• Customize Duda templates to meet client requirements.
• Integrate third-party applications and plugins.
• Ensure websites are optimized for search engines and performance.

Alibaba Minisite Design:

• Design effective Alibaba Minisites based on client industry, products, and services.
• Ensure Alibaba Minisites are visually engaging and optimized for lead generation.

Social Media Graphic Design:

• Create visually engaging graphics for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Design social media posts, stories, ads, and profile graphics.
• Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across social media.
• Stay up-to-date with social media design trends, emerging AI creative tools, and best practices.
• Create templates for reusable social media content.
• Develop strategies for using generative AI to create scalable, personalized, and high-performing social media graphics and video content.

AI Creative Strategy & Collaboration

• Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy for the creative team, ensuring alignment with the goals of the Digital Growth team.
• Establish clear guidelines, ethical standards, and quality control protocols for all AI-generated creative assets.
• Serve as the creative team's subject matter expert on AI, training team members and demonstrating the practical application of new tools to enhance project outcomes.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on web development and design projects.
• Gather and document client requirements, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present design concepts and website progress to clients.
• Manage client expectations and address any concerns.

Asset Management:

• Organize and maintain social media graphic assets.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media or any relevant certification.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• This is a strictly on-site position at our office in Bandar Sunway.
• Possession of creative flair, versatility.
• Understanding of cultural considerations in creative design for global audiences is a plus.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Chinese is mandatory for this role.
• Proven experience in website development.
• A strong understanding of AI's practical applications in modern design, marketing, and content creation workflows.
• Proficiency with the CMS platform (Duda or similar).
• Solid graphic design skills, particularly for social media content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Proven proficiency and strategic experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E, nano banana, generative video platforms) for professional creative output is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
