Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead to oversee and manage the testing activities for complex software implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and proven leadership experience in delivering projects within Agile or Waterfall frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end testing process for software implementation projects.
  • Define and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the SDLC.
  • Manage defect tracking, reporting, and resolution processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills & Qualification

  • Degree in IT or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
  • 2+ years of experience leading testing efforts in software implementation projects with multiple connected systems.
  • Strong experience on Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and QA best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in test automation frameworks (preferably Tricentis Tosca)
  • Experience in finance applications such as MS Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with loan and leasing applications like FIS Asset Finance
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification.
