The Solution Engineering (SE) team at Guidewire bridges the gap between technology and business. They work closely with sales, product, and consulting teams to help insurance clients understand how Guidewire's cloud-based platform can solve real-world business challenges.

Their focus areas include:

Technical pre-sales and solution design – Demonstrating how Guidewire products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and InsuranceSuite Cloud) meet customer needs.

We're now looking for highly motivated Solution Engineer Intern 6 Months from Feb /Mar July / August 2026 that are looking to work with current, leading-edge technology to join us – This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology, eager to enhance their skills, and thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Job Description

What You'll Do
  • Partner with the sales and product teams to understand customer business needs and design tailored software solutions.  
  • Demonstrate strong communication, storytelling, and problem-solving skills to clearly articulate technical solutions to both business and IT stakeholders.

Intern Requirements

What We're Looking For 

  • Final-year student pursuing a Bachelor's  degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • The internship follows a hybrid work with two days per week onsite at our Guidewire Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur Office
  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals; hands-on familiarity with Java, JavaScript, , React. 
  • Awareness of object-oriented design principles. 
  • Exposure to the software development lifecycle (Agile experience preferred).
  • Great if any AI/ML coursework or projects.
