Bank Relations Officer (Malaysia Branch)

About the Company

We are an international trading and purchasing company specializing in sourcing high-quality goods and services worldwide for our clients. We are opening our Malaysian branch to manage international payments and banking operations with local financial institutions.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Bank Relations Officer based in Malaysia with proven experience working with local banks — preferably RHB Bank and Affin Bank.

This person will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and coordinating all banking-related processes for our company, ensuring smooth communication with bank representatives and stable operation of our accounts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in opening and setting up company bank accounts in Malaysia.
  • Manage and monitor daily banking operations, including online banking systems.
  • Communicate directly with bank managers and officers on behalf of the company.
  • Resolve any issues related to account access, payments, or compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with the company's finance department on international transactions.
  • Prepare and submit documents required by banks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with RHB Bank, Affin Bank, or other Malaysian financial institutions.
  • Solid understanding of corporate banking processes and international transactions.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to handle confidential financial information.
  • Residence in Malaysia and ability to visit local bank branches when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in finance, accounting, or corporate administration.
  • Experience working with foreign-owned or international companies.

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract basis (to be discussed)
