Export Customer Service Executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate export bookings with carriers, co-loaders, and agents.
  • Arrange cargo pick-up, stuffing, container movements, and monitor vessel schedules, cut-off times, and sailing details.
  • Prepare, verify, and submit export documentation (SI, BL/MBL/HBL, invoice, packing list, VGM, pre-alerts, manifest, COO, etc.) ensuring compliance with export regulations.
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding shipment status, clearance updates, and provide CRD upon document clearance.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide prompt solutions.
  • Update shipment and milestone information in internal systems (ROT, CMO, booking data, etc.) and ensure complete job closure.
  • Support billing preparation, checking, submission, and filing for both internal reference and customer records.
  • Perform customs declarations and ensure export closing and document accuracy.
  • Draft K2 and other customer communication documents for confirmation.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic documentation for easy retrieval and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in export operations, freight forwarding, or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines accurately.
  • Proficiency in relevant shipping or ERP systems is an advantage.
