About the role

We are seeking an experienced Export Executive to join our dynamic team at TMI Container Line Sdn Bhd. As an Export Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the export logistics of our operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our clients' shipments. This is a full-time position based in Klang, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinating and processing export documentation, including preparing and submitting customs declarations, bills of lading, and other necessary paperwork
  2. Liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers to ensure the smooth handling of export shipments
  3. Tracking and monitoring the progress of export shipments, and providing regular updates to clients
  4. Identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks in the export process, proactively communicating with relevant stakeholders
  5. Maintaining accurate records and data on export activities, and generating reports as required
  6. Staying up-to-date with changes in export regulations, customs requirements, and industry best practices
  7. Providing support and guidance to the sales team on export-related matters

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in export operations or logistics, preferably within the import/export and customs industry
  2. Strong knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, shipping companies, and other stakeholders
  4. Proficient in using relevant logistics and shipping management software
  5. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle complex export-related issues
  6. Excellent time management and organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
  7. A team player with a positive, customer-centric attitude
