Role Description

The HR Executive will be responsible for supporting end-to-end recruitment activities and driving learning & development initiatives to strengthen workforce capability. This role will also provide general HR operational support to ensure smooth HR service delivery at the Pengerang site.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and reference checks.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system or recruitment database.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes such as offer letters, documentation, and onboarding arrangements.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical or high-volume positions.
  • Partner with external agencies, institutions, and job portals to attract suitable talent.

Learning & Development

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing training programs based on annual training plans.
  • Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, attendance tracking, vendor management, and training evaluations.
  • Conduct post-training effectiveness assessments and compile training reports.
  • Support employee development initiatives, career progression programs, and internal knowledge-sharing activities.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Support HR activities including onboarding, employee engagement programs, and HR reporting.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in HR audits, ISO requirements, or other compliance-related activities.
  • Provide HR support to Pengerang site employees and act as the first point of contact for HR matters.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in HR, with strong exposure in recruitment and/or L&D.
  • Familiarity with HRMS/ATS systems and training management platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a site-based environment.
  • Willing to be based full-time in Pengerang, Johor.
