Job Responsibilities:

Hire Purchase Accounting

  • Handle hire purchase accounts, including documentation, payment schedules, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly hire purchase interest calculations and ensure accurate postings.
  • Monitor HP loan balances and ensure timely payments to financial institutions.

General Accounting

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet schedules, and P&L reports.
  • Manage AP/AR entries, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist with taxation, audit preparation, and year-end closing activities.

Financial Management

  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget variances.
  • Provide financial insights and reports to management for decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in hire purchase accounting.
  • Strong understanding of HP financing documentation and processes.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, or similar).
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.
