About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior Account Executive / Assistant Account Manager to join our dynamic team at NexusLED Green Technology Sdn Bhd. This full-time position is based in Batu Pahat, Johor, and will play a crucial role in supporting our financial accounting and reporting functions.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to support business decision-making
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather financial data and information
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Provide support in managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and other accounting tasks
  • Assist with tax planning, compliance and reporting requirements
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the manufacturing or technology industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices and procedures
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets and other relevant financial tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, CPA) is highly desirable
