Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Unified Monitoring Analyst
to join our team on an 18-month contract. In this role, you will support real-time monitoring of IT infrastructure, networks, and security systems. You'll work closely with the Unified Monitoring team, gaining exposure across the Infrastructure Operations Center (IOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), and Security Operations Center (SOC).

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitoring and Incident Support
:

  • Assist in monitoring servers, network devices, and security events using unified monitoring tools.
  • Help identify and document incidents related to IT infrastructure, networks, or security.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to escalate and resolve incidents.

2. Infrastructure Operations (IOC)
:

  • Learn to track the performance and availability of servers and cloud resources.
  • Support in troubleshooting basic infrastructure-related issues.

3. Network Operations (NOC)
:

  • Gain exposure to network monitoring, including traffic analysis and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Assist in documenting and addressing network-related alerts.

4. Security Operations (SOC)
:

  • Support the analysis of basic security alerts and logs under the guidance of SOC team members.
  • Help maintain records of security events and assist in vulnerability identification.

5. Documentation and Reporting
:

  • Assist in maintaining detailed incident logs and knowledge base articles.
  • Contribute to periodic performance, network, and security reports for management.

Requirements

1. Educational Background
:

  • Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

2. Technical Skills
:

  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, and cloud platforms).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (e.g., IP addresses, DNS, firewalls) is a plus.
  • Interest in learning monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk).
  • Exposure to basic security principles or tools (e.g., antivirus, firewalls) is an advantage.

3. Soft Skills
:

  • Willingness to learn and take on challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

4. Availability
:

  • Ability to commit to a full-time internship for the agreed duration.
