Senior Sales Executive - Logistics/Shipping/Transportation - Indoor/Outdoor/Field/Inside Sales ​Location: Penang About the Company Our client is a global leader in container shipping, offering comprehensive ocean freight solutions and digital services. Job Summary This role is responsible for growing both import and export volumes by acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones. The position also focuses on specialized cargo services, digitalization initiatives, and ensuring smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial success. Job ResponsibilitiesDrive sales growth by securing new business and maintaining key accounts (CIF & FOB shipments)Promote and develop special cargo services (reefer, out -of -gauge, etc.)Conduct regular client and stakeholder engagements to understand challenges and deliver solutionsPerform market analysis to identify growth opportunities and support business expansionMaximize support from internal account plans and initiate rate requests with trade teamsAdvocate digital tools and platforms to enhance e -commerce engagementMonitor and manage long -stay containers to optimize asset utilizationMaintain accurate and up -to -date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and proposals in the CRM systemTrack sales progress, identify business potential, and follow up on leadsAnalyze sales and rate data for trends, compliance, and performance insightsProactively address customer concerns and resolve issues with creative problem -solving RequirementsMinimum 1 year of experience in the shipping or related industryStrong commercial acumen and customer -centric mindsetExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship -building skillsAnalytical, detail -oriented, and proactive in solving problemsComfortable using modern digital tools and proficient in MS OfficeDegree preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered
