Key Responsibilities1. Equipment Management & Maintenance

  • Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of all manufacturing and production machinery.
  • Establish and execute preventive maintenance plans to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
  • Ensure all machines are properly calibrated, aligned, and functioning as intended.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to avoid operational interruptions.

2. Troubleshooting & Technical Support

  • Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in production equipment.
  • Provide immediate technical assistance during breakdowns or production disruptions.
  • Keep detailed records of equipment performance, repairs, and maintenance activities.

3. Process Optimization & Efficiency Improvement

  • Review machine performance data to highlight improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to enhance process efficiency.
  • Introduce automation and other improvements to boost overall production output.

4. Team Leadership & Training

  • Supervise and guide equipment engineers and technicians to develop their capabilities.
  • Conduct training related to machine operation, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
  • Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment usage and maintenance.

5. Compliance & Safety Management

  • Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with Malaysian safety regulations and relevant standards.
  • Promote safe work practices, particularly when handling high-voltage and automated equipment.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement corrective actions to enhance workplace safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM120, RM180,000.00 per year
