Role Overview

The Senior Performance Management Specialist is responsible for
designing, implementing, and refining performance management framework
, policies, and processes to ensure they remain effective and aligned with business needs. The role
drives the end-to-end performance cycle
, provides expert guidance to leaders and employees, and partners across HR and business functions to build a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and review performance management policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Lead the full performance management cycle (goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, and calibration sessions) in partnership with HRBPs and business leaders.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and employees on performance management practices, tools, and processes to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Oversee and continuously improve performance management systems and tools, ensuring ease of use and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Design and deliver training and workshops to enhance leader and employee capability in performance management.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to strengthen leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Manage performance intervention cases, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and probation extensions, ensuring proper documentation and fair process.
  • Track, analyze, and report performance management metrics (e.g., goal-setting completion, review milestones, and cycle compliance) to drive accountability and improvements.

Requirements

  • 8 – 12 years of HR experience, with strong expertise in performance management design, implementation, or evaluation.
  • Exposure to Rewards/Compensation practices is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.
