Role Description

We are seeking a Junior Accounts Executive for a full-time, on-site role located in Shah Alam. The Junior Accounts Executive will support daily accounting operations, manage account receivables and payables, and assist in preparing financial reports. Responsibilities include data entry, bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in month-end closing activities. The candidate will also provide support during audits, collaborate with the finance team, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL).
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and due dates.
  • Review and verify invoice details, ensure approvals.
  • Maintain proper records and filing of payment documents.
  • Assist in month-end closing and reporting activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments (maintenance, Procurement, etc) for invoice clarification.
  • Supporting the e-invoicing process, including invoice verification and submission.
  • Assist in ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Maintain and organize accurate accounting records.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of local tax and statutory requirement.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end account closing processes.
  • To undertake and perform any other job functions as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience as a Junior Accounts Executive or similar role.
  • Fresh graduates who are eager to learn are also encouraged to apply
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, with strong computer literacy
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in all accounting tasks
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken 
    Chinese
    , English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Familiar with SQL / Accounting software will be added advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and meet tight deadlines.
