Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Plan and coordinate production workforce scheduling, job assignment, and task supervision.
  • Monitor production progress and ensure optimal utilization of materials, manpower, and machinery.
  • Collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Warehouse departments to resolve production issues.
  • Enforce 5S, Lean Manufacturing practices, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
  • Track and report production performance metrics (efficiency, scrap rate, downtime, etc.).
  • Train and guide operators to ensure compliance with work instructions, quality standards, and safety policies.
  • Handle on-site issues promptly to maintain smooth production operations.
  • Ensure team adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and SOPs.
  • Support new product introductions, machine setups, and process optimization projects.
  • Prepare daily production reports and provide feedback and recommendations to management.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry (plastic blowing preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of production operations, manpower planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Mandarin and English proficiency is required to liaise with China HQ.
  • Able to work under pressure, lead a team, and handle shift work or overtime when needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
