Job Summary:

This role will provides Pre and Post contracts process. Expected to take on a lead role to the Contracts Team and for assessing the technical/commercial feasibility in a project tender.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and manage in preparing and analysis during Pre-Contract stage as follows: ● Tender submission, build up costing, data collection, document study, enquire of quotation, measurement checking. Document checking, document filing and coordination of submission.

  2. Monitor and manage in preparing during the Post Contract stage as follows:

● Procurement list and sample submission list, project sample submission

● Evaluation of Sub-Contractor/Supplier claims or bill verification and payment from preparation

  1. Prepare project budget cost report, enquire supplier/ Sub-Contractor's quotation, pricing comparison and compilation of database.

  2. Manage project cost, prepare Variation Order and monthly progress claim and certify status and update monthly claim and collection report.

  3. Prepare Project final account documentation.

  4. Advise on procurement strategy, perform risk and value management and cost control.

  5. Provide advise on contractual claims and monitor quality and work process.

  6. Ensure adherence to Quality, Safety and Environmental policy regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor Degree's in QS / Contract Management / Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • min 6 to 8 years of experiences. Experiences in interior fit-out will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of cost estimation techniques, construction law, contract administration and dispute resolution processes
  • Able to travel outstation
  • Ability to work independently, initiative and lead the team
  • Ability to check on changes of designs to access to effect of costs
  • Ability to prepare monthly cash-flow forecast
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM7,000.00 per month
