Job scope

We are looking for a reliable and meticulous Accountant to handle the full scope of our

company's daily financial operations. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial

records, ensuring timely payments and collections, and managing compliance with all Malaysian

tax and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting:

  • Manage the complete set of accounts (AP, AR, GL).
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management accounts.
  • Monitor company cash flow and conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Execute year-end closing procedures.

Payments & Receivables:

  • Process all supplier invoices and utility bills.
  • Manage payment runs via online banking systems (e.g., HLB eConnect, UOB Infinity).
  • Monitor debtor aging and manage debt collection efforts.

Tax & Compliance:

  • Handle all SST submissions and related reconciliations (MySST).
  • Manage e-Invoicing tasks, including validation and submission.
  • Prepare and submit all mandatory statutory forms (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, PCB).
  • Assist in tax forecasting and compliance reporting.

Auditing & Reporting:

  • Liaise directly with external auditors.
  • Prepare necessary audit schedules and documentation.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma,Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking but candidates with STPM who possess relevant experience also can apply

Experience : At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar full-set accounting role
  • Familiarity with Malaysian tax regulations (SST, LHDN).
  • Basic in Accounting and Inventory System (SAGE UBS).
  • Competency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Fast learner and willing to do any ad hoc task.
