Now Hiring: Speech/Language Therapist (Full-Time | Hospital-Based | Singapore)

A private hospital in Singapore is currently seeking a full-time Speech/Language Therapist to provide specialised therapy services primarily focused on adult patients. The role offers exposure across multiple clinical departments and is ideal for professionals passionate about hospital rehabilitation and patient-centred care.

Nature of Business:

The employer is a healthcare provider offering integrated hospital and rehabilitation services in acute care, long-term care, and community settings.

Job Scope:

  • Deliver therapy services in:
  • Acute care settings including ICU, neurology, geriatrics, general medicine, and surgery
  • Tertiary rehabilitation facilities
  • Slow-stream rehabilitation programmes
  • Community outreach and home therapy
  • Participate in specialised clinics, such as:
  • Swallowing assessments (Videofluoroscopy and FEES)
  • Contribute to clinical research and training initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree in Speech Therapy from a recognised university
  • Must meet the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) requirements in Singapore
  • Malaysian graduates from UKM, USM, or IIUM are eligible for temporary AHPC registration
  • Demonstrates strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-focused care
  • Comfortable working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Experience in adult rehabilitation and dysphagia management is an advantage

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM9, RM13,000.00 per month
