Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Java Springboot Software Engineer at AppBay Studio, located in Greater Kuala Lumpur. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, with a focus on Java and Spring Framework. Daily tasks include developing backend services using microservices architecture, writing clean and efficient code, performing technical troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java programming and experience with the Spring Framework
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and software development principles
  • Experience in programming and building scalable, high-performance applications
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to debug and troubleshoot code effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
