DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ASSIST PRODUCTION MANAGER IN PLANNING FOR PRODUCTION MACHNIES  AND RESOURCES
  • CARRY OUT AND COORDINATE ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES TO MEET YIELDS, CAPACITY, EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY
  • GENERATE PROCESS FLOW, PROCESS SPECIFICATION AND WORK INSTRUCTIONS PER REQUIREMENT
  • CARRY OUT ASSIGNED PROJECT/ TASKS DELEGATED BY SUPERIOR
  • PARTICIPATE IN START- UP MEETINGS FOR NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTIONS AND INVOLVE IN NEW PRODUCT TRANSITIONS
  • CONDUCT PROCESS, JIG, FIXTURE AND MACHINE QUALIFICATION PRIOR TO MASS PRODUCTION
  • WORK WITH SUPPORTING ENGINEERING GROUPS RELATED TO PARTS AND  PRODUCT EVALUATIONS
  • LEAD AND CONDUCT PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES
  • ESTABLISH AND IMPLEMENT PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS TO ENSURE PROCESS AND PRODUCT QUALITY CONSISTENCY
  • PROVIDE THE NECESSARY PROCESS TRAININGS TO RELATED STAFFS AND OPERATORS PER TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
  • PROVIDE MANAGEMENT WITH THE RELEVANT REPORTS RELATED TO  PRODUCTION YIELD, CAPACITY, EFFICIENCY AN PRODUCTIVITY
  • LEAD AND INITIATE COST CONTROL PLANS, IMPLEMENT AND ENFORCE  COMPLIANCE

FOR PAINTING

  • KNOWLEDGE OF ROBOT, PLC  AND MACHINE PROGRAMING
  • HAVING CONVERSANT WITH CONVEYOR SYSTEM, PAINT BOOTH, OVEN, COOLER ,PAINT UTILITY EQUIPMENTS, SCADA, AHU, DM PLANT, HWG, HVAC, CONVENTIONAL PAINT GUNS, ELECTROSTATIC DISPENSING EQUIPMENTS, RECIPROCATORS, ROBOTS, POWDER COATING DISPENSING SETUPS, PAINT KITCHENS, ALL TYPES OF PT SYSTEMS FOR  SHEET METALS, PLASTICS, PRIMER & TOP COATS WILL PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL SORTS PAINT EQUIPMENTS, PAINT UTILITIES
  • QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN PAINT SHOP THROUGH CONSUMABLES UPGRADATION WITH THE HELP OF CONSUMABLE  SUPPLIER
  • TESTING OF CONSUMABLES AS PER STANDARD & DEFINING STANDARDS FOR TESTING IN LINE WITH INDUSTRY STANDARDS, WHEREVER REQUIRED
  • PLANNING FOR NEW COLORS & ENSURING THEIR SMOOTH INTRODUCTION
  • CONSUMABLE MANUFACTURING PROCESS AUDIT & DEVELOPMENT OF SUPPLIERS
  • INTERACTION WITH DIFFERENT VERTICALS FOR COLOR PLANNING & INTRODUCTION
  • REGULAR INTERACTION WITH CONSUMABLE SUPPLIERS TO ENSURE DELIVERABLES AS PER SCHEDULE.

TECHNICAL/ FUNCTIONAL :

  • DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE OF PU PAINT, UV PAINT,ACRYLIC PAINT, WATER BASE PAINT PREPERATION & APPLICATION
  • DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE OF MANUFACTURING PROCESSES & APPLICATION PROCESSESS OF PLASTIC  PAINT SHOPS, PLASTIC PARTS  PP, ABS, NYLON
  • BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF QUALITY REQUIREMENTS OF PLASTIC PAINTED PARTS - PP, ABS, NYLON ETC & THERE  PRETRETMENT FOR PAINT APPLICATION
  • BASIC KNOW-HOW OF CONSUMABLES USED IN PLASTIC/ METAL PAINT SHOP, THEIR TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION, PURPOSE & EVALUATION CRITERIA
  • HANDS ON EXPERIENCE ON TESTING OF PAINT & OTHER DIRECT CONSUMABLES
  • FAMILIAR WITH WET PAINT TESTING & DRY PAINT FLIM TESTING - ADHESION, UV, HUMIDIITY, VISCOSITY, SOILD CONTENT, THICKNESS,SST ETC.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • DEGREE IN CHEMICAL/ CHEMISTRY OR RELATED FIELD (EXPERIENCE IN PAINT SHOP IS ADVANCE ADVANTAGE )
  • PREFERABLE AT LEAST 3-4 YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE IN THE RELATED FIELD (PLASTIC PAINT SHOP)
  • KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE PRODUCT & PROCESS
  • KNOWLEDGE ABOUT QUALITY SYSTEMS, SIX SIGMA, KAIZEN, ETC
  • KNOWLEDGE OF ROBOT PROGRAMING, PLC PROGRAMING
  • KNOWLEDGE OF PRODUCTIVITY MONITORING IMPROVEMENT SYSTEM
  • KNOWLEDGE OF ISO 9001:2015, EMS 14001 OHSAS 18001
  • KNOWLEDGE OF KAIZEN, 5S, LEAN MANUFACTURING
