We are looking for an Intern who is enthusiastic about oil and gas operations through some digital project by supporting in developing rig chart structure and monitoring dashboard while gaining exposure to the company's strategic operations within the drilling sector.

Corporate Strategy
joining us in December 2025 onwards.

Job Responsibility:-

Rig Chart Development

  • Study and understand rig organizational structure and reporting lines.
  • Design and develop a digital rig chart that is user-friendly and easy to update.
  • Explore suitable tools (e.g., MS Power BI, MS Visio, MS Power Apps, or other platforms).
  • Assist in ensuring data accuracy and visualization clarity.
  • Document user guidelines for updating/maintaining the rig chart.

V35 Monitoring Dashboard

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders on what data/metrics to track.
  • Assist in designing and building a performance monitoring dashboard (possibly in Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Integrate data sources (Excel, databases, or other internal systems).
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and improving dashboard functionality.
  • Prepare basic training or a simple user manual for the dashboard.

General Support Tasks

  • Assist in documentation, data cleaning, and analysis related to the above projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc and digital/tech support for related initiatives.
  • Gain exposure to project management practices within Velesto's Corporate Strategy team.

Minimum requirements:-

  • Currently a Bachelor Degree student in Information Technology, Computer Science or any equivalent with strong interest in Oil and Gas drilling sector.
  • Must eligible to undergo industrial training / internship under University requirement.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in data analysis tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proactive and eager to learn
  • Able to work in Plaza Sentral, KL
  • 18 years old and above
