Job Description:

  • Assist in managing reporting to stakeholders - especially MOSTI & MOF.
  • Assist in drafting of policy and developing/reviewing products.
  • Assist in development and recommendation of MDV's strategic and long-range goals based on analysis and studies of business conditions.
  • Assist in establishment of key objectives and mission realization, considering organization's strengths, weaknesses, capacity, and products.
  • Monitors and evaluates results of existing Business Plans to ensure growth and profitability and makes adjustments as necessary.
  • Drafting of Board/Committee papers.
  • Construct forecasts and analytical models.
  • Keeps leadership abreast of changes in the industry or sector and impact of events on the business climate and incorporates relevant trend data into all plans.
  • Assist in research to identify threats and opportunities.
  • Assess the company's operational and strategic performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Finance / Economics, or equivalent. A completed professional certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Planning and Strategy in the Financial Services/Banking industry.
  • Experiences in Corporate Planning and Strategy, with basic understanding of overall process i.e. data collection, understanding problems, strategy formulation, proposal presentation, execution to performance and project management.
  • Skilled in business writing, with good communication skill (written and spoken), analytical skills (market research and data analysis), presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and intermediate level of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Demonstratable strategic thinking abilities, self-starter, fast-learner and proven ability to liaise with the Senior Management.
