About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the finance team at GSKL Property Holding Sdn Bhd as a Senior Accounts Executive. In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, you will play a crucial part in the company's financial operations and reporting.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  3. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
  4. Reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies
  5. Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes
  6. Providing financial information and support to other departments as needed
  7. Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

  1. A degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the property or real estate industry
  3. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations
  4. Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications
  5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. A proactive and collaborative approach to work
