DataMicron is a multi-award Big Data and AI company, with patented technologies in USA and China. We have extensive experience in developing products and full-scale solutions in the field of business intelligence, machine learning & AI, data engineering and front-end development. We have covered and implemented end-to-end Big Data Analytics solutions in eight countries across major public and private sector organizations, and are currently going through a large expansion in our business portfolio.

We are currently looking for interns in the Data Science department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, labelling, and pre-processing data from various sources.

  • Research on domain knowledge and assisting in setting up proof-of-concepts.

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.

  • Support the development and testing of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

  • Participate in the creation of data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in data science and machine learning.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for data.

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

  • Familiarity with data analysis libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and visualization tools like Matplotlib or Seaborn.

  • Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

  • Preferably in their last semester.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

  • Exposure to big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
