Job Description:

  • Supervise and ensure daily production operations are carried out according to the production plan and required output targets.
  • Plan and organize workflow by assigning tasks and responsibilities based on daily and weekly production schedules to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead, monitor, and coach production operators by providing guidance, training, and support to improve performance and skill competency.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated safely and work closely with the maintenance team to coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
  • Monitor production output against planning schedules and customer orders to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate and ensure all production orders are completed and shipped according to the scheduled shipment dates, minimizing delays.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall production performance.
  • Implement and enforce safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the production area to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area by guiding staff on proper use of equipment, control points, and resources in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Address and resolve product quality issues through data analysis, investigation, root cause identification, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Drive optimal productivity by reducing downtime, minimizing rejection rates for dough, finished goods, and packaging materials, and ensuring no work-in-progress (WIP) remains overnight.
  • Liaise with the planning team to adjust production schedules based on demand changes and operational capacity.
  • Manage and allocate manpower and materials effectively to maximize production efficiency.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present production reports and performance updates to management.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of SPM, Diploma, or Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the food manufacturing or related industry will be an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in operating and handling various food processing machinery and equipment.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and equipped with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with different levels of staff.
  • Strong organizational, supervisory, and leadership capabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
