About the role

HSL CONSTRUCTOR SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated and driven Human Resource Executive to join our dynamic team in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing our most valuable asset - our people.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
  2. Developing and implementing effective human resource policies, procedures, and best practices
  3. Providing support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
  4. Coordinating and managing employee training and development programs
  5. Maintaining and updating employee records and HRIS systems
  6. Assisting with compensation and benefits administration
  7. Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations
  8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. A Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. At least 3-5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in the construction.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  4. Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  6. Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  7. Thorough knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and regulations
