Electrical CNC Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (milling/turning) in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs to enhance machining efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Interpret and review technical drawings to ensure all products meet dimensional and tolerance requirements.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and jigs to support production processes.
  • Perform trial runs, first-piece inspections, and implement process improvements where necessary.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in CNC machining and/or programming will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., MasterCAM, Siemens NX, SolidCAM) will be an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and GD&T is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
