Technician/ Wireman for Solar/ Battery

Key Responsibilities:

·       Assist in installation, testing and commissioning of solar PV systems and BESS (and EV chargers if applicable).

·       Perform cable laying, trunking, conduit, termination, labelling and basic panel wiring according to drawings.

·       Install mounting structures, panels, combiner boxes, inverters, batteries, and related equipment.

·       Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance – visual inspection, cleaning, tightening, replacement of parts.

·       Support troubleshooting of system faults under supervision of engineers / senior technicians.

·       Ensure all work is done following electrical safety standards, PPE usage and site safety rules.

·       Prepare simple service reports, photo records and update supervisor on work progress.

·       Willing to work at height (roof), outdoors, and travel to different sites / outstation when required.

Qualifications / Requirements

·       Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Renewable Energy or related field.

·       SKM / Wireman PW2 / PW4 / A0 or similar qualification is an added advantage.

· –3 years' experience in electrical, solar PV, BESS or related field preferred.

·       Basic understanding of DC & AC wiring, earthing, MCCB/MCB, SPD is an advantage.

·       Physically fit, comfortable working on rooftops and ladders, and under outdoor conditions.

·       Possess valid driving license;

·       Safety-conscious, responsible, and able to work in a team environment.
