Job Description:

  • Prepare Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) for workplace activities
  • Coordinate Pemeriksaan Ulangan Jentera dan Kilang with competent persons and relevant authorities
  • Inspect and submit CF – Certificate at fitness .
  • Prepare, record, and maintain SHC meeting minutes and action items.
  • Prepare and distribute Safety Bulletins to promote safety awareness
  • Coordinate and arrange Fire Drills preparedness.
  • Assist in organizing Latihan Organisasi Keselamatan Kebakaran (OKK).
  • Monitor and maintain First Aid Kits to ensure availability and compliance.
  • Assist third-party trainers in training or other training activities.
  • Coordinate and First Aid and CPR training.
  • Conduct assist internal safety trainings, including Chemical Handling, Hearing Conservation, Scheduled Waste Handler Training
  • Coordinate and maintain competency for Authorized Entrant and Standby
  • Person for Confined Space ((AESP)
  • Coordinate Chemical Exposure Monitoring (CEM) for phosphine gas (fumigation operations) and ensure reports are retained for minimum 30 years.
  • Implement and monitor Health Surveillance Programme for phosphine gas exposure when:
  • Exposure exceeds MEL
  • Workers report health issues
  • Records retained for minimum 5 years
  • Conduct and maintain Noise Hazard Identification Checklist / assist in audiometric test arrangement
  • Coordinate Scheduled Waste disposal and maintain related records.
  • Coordinate Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) inspections for laboratory operations.
  • Coordinate Isokinetic Stack and Air Emission Monitoring 2 chimneys at wheat intake tower and 1 chimney at laboratory fume hood
  • Other related activities to DOSH

Qualification :

  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
  • Knowledge of OSHA 1994, Factories and Machine Act
  • Experience in safety documentation, training coordination, and compliance monitoring.
  • Good communication, coordination, and record-keeping skills

Experience : 1-3 years of working experiences

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
